Golden Quest Discovery Trail
Golden Quest April 2021Just completed Golden Quest Discovery Trail. Highlights were:1. Coolgardie Exhibition Museum- Well maintained and insightful2. Broad Arrow Hotel- Great pub3. Kookynie Hotel- Willie the Horse is worth catching up with4. Leonara Visitors Centre- Helpful staff5. Gwalia Ghost Town- Amazingly authentic6 Hoover House- Beautiful7. Southern Cross Yilgarn History Museum- Friendly staff- interesting exhibitsDisappointments were:1. Menzies township- Everything closed and council employees extremely unhelpful- were turning away tourists2. Laverton -The Great Beyond Visitor Centre- Closed for renovations and this was not communicated adequately via website3. Golden Quest Discovery Trail Website- not having up to date information
